Nov 2009 : Tewkesbury Host HD equipment demo for other clubs
John Greene of Gloucester Cine and Video Club contacted Matt back in October, to see if we would mind demonstrating our new High Definition equipment to a few of the Gloucester members.

We of course accepted and extended the invitation to a few of the other local clubs. On 9th November, we had a great turn out. We demonstrated the equipment and answered questions. Bristol club members also brought along an HD Media Player which they demonstrated. The evening seemed to be enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Roger, Paul and Matt for supporting the evening.

Oct 2009 : Stanway Mill - The club meets royalty
On Friday 30th October, Prince Charles opened Stanway Mill. The Prince turned the wheel to produce the first bag of flour made at the mill since the 1950s.
Later he unveiled a plaque to mark the official launch of the mill after seven years of careful restoration work.

Colin Bell was contacted by Lord Wemyss, owner of the mill, who asked if the club were interested in filming elements of the restoration and the opening event.
We are thrilled to be involved. Many thanks to Colin & Pam, plus Paul, Chris, Brian and Matt who all helped film the action. Colin is now busy editing the many hours of footage taken and is currently working with Lord Wemyss on producing a voice- over.
